Video Music Lessons is an interactive online global school/community for music education. All lessons are in video form and can be accessed via download or sent to your home in hard copy (DVD or CD)

Teachers sign up for free and create High Quality video lessons for students to download and learn the styles, techniques and disciplines of music they have to offer. Our students from all over the world pay a fair price to download or have the lessons sent to their home via video. Video Music Lessons markets the site globally and share the revenues from all sales at a 25/75 split. The teacher recieves 75% of all sales. Payments are made electronically to our teachers on a Bi-Weekly basis.Other splits apply to different types of accounts.

In order to get started teaching with VML, you will need a computer with a high speed internet connection. You will also need a good quality digital camcorder. You will also need a video editor(windows movie maker, adobe premiere, Final Cut Pro). You will provide your own music equipment. If you teach music software, you will need a good screen capture program(Camtasia).

Our site is marketed globally. When you make a sale you will be notified via email and you can check your sales via your control panel. As you upload more lessons, you may have a better chance of increased sales. We pay out royalties to your Paypal account Bi Weekly.

Signing up to be a student is easy. Just use the link on the homepage to create an account. You can post your music and review your favorite teachers. You can also study more than one instrument or topic. You can also download lessons without becoming a student.

We offer lessons in Piano, Drumming, Percussion, Guitar, Recording and performanc. We also offer online vocals lessons. If you do not see the lesson you want to learn, contact us via our help request link.

VML teachers have mailboxes and can be contacted on the site. We encourage you to ask questions of yout teachers and tell them what you need help learning.

VML is an open borders learning community and has no immediate plans toward accredidation. We will,however,keep you posted.

Creating videos for VML is simple. If you need help creating videos, we have an account called the professional teacher that costs $19.99 per month. We give you access to our vault of free video tutorials that teach you how to record, edit and upload professional lessons to VML. We also give you access to our marketing vault that can show you how to drive visitors to you VML store.Just create a teacher account and click the UPGRADES tab in your control panel to sign up for a professional teacher account.

Yes. If you already have video music lessons created and they are selling online, you should be ahead of the rest. Just create an account, upload your videos to your store and start selling. Remember to add sample lessons so student can see what you offer.

Your videos should be in either wmv,mov,mpg,mpeg,m4v formats.All other formats are rejected by the system.The file you sell to your students should be in Zip format (to save space on the server). Your sample lessons should be in regular video format (wmv,mov,mpg,mpeg,m4v)

No, accounts that do not upload videos and products are automatically deleted from the server after 15 days.

You can upload a sample of your video to your videos section in your control panel. You will then upload your zipped video to your "Digital Lessons" section of your control panel and set a price for the item. You are now ready to sell your lessons

At VML, you set your own prices for your lessons. You can set your prices according to their value, length, popularity and relevance.

If you have a lesson on CD/DVD to offer, you can sell it from your store. Your store allows you to sell your lessons on CD or DVD in addition to instand download.

Just go to your control panel click on the "Lessons on disc" tab. Then click create lesson. Add the item information (I.E. Drumming lesson #1), add a picture, cost and shipping info and your done. When your item sells, you will get an email notifying you of the sale and fulfill your order for your customer.Remember, All orders are your responsibility to fulfill. Just go to your "Control Panel" and click "Your Profile" then click "Statistics". You can now see all of your site's statistics to include sales, Visitorship and Video stats.
